Sewing Sunday

Hi! This sewing Sunday is a work in progress as I am currently sewing multiple projects for my dolls and for my spring/summer release, as it gets closer to the end of March I will be posting "sneak peek's" of some of the items but for now I will show you my custom dress. I love looking through the fashion releases and Ralph Lauren's Spring 2015 collection caught my eye, I love the safari inspired color's mixed with bright spring color's. One of my favorites is-

I love the necklace! 
So I went to Joann's and bought chiffon, tulle and a knit fabric in a bright yellow, I'm still in the planning stage as I am kind of nervous about sewing with chiffon and of course since I will be sewing it without a pattern :) I created a mock up by just pinning the fabric- 
 I can't wait to start it!

    Wow, it looks great! The yellow dress almost reminds me of the one in Beauty and the Beast. :)

      Thanks! I have never draped fabric like this (something fashion designers learn) so it will be a challenge!
