Sewing Sunday

Hi! Long time no see :) I missed posting this week and commenting! Hopefully this week will be better. This weeks Sewing Sunday is a baby dress that I tailored to fit American Girl dolls, it was very easy (It only took me about 10 minutes) as I only had to take in the sides of the dress and that was it. I first modeled this on Mia who looks amazing in it but Lindsey stole the spotlight ;) After looking at the pictures I realized that Lindsey looks so much like Snow White! Now I must create a wardrobe inspired by Snow White for her in the future.

 I think I have a problem of narrowing down pictures to just a few, I think this is 29 pictures... oops. In other news yesterday I had the inspiration to try painting freckles onto Felicity. Recently Felicity has not been used, as proof just look back through the posts, because I want to send her in to the doll hospital to replace her head as her hair is really dry and some of the paint has chipped off her eye. Sometime before the end of the year I am hoping to although with a possible archival for Caroline it might be pushed back. I completely love her now that I added freckles and plan on featuring her more now. I also want to develop the dolls personalities and interests more as only Lindsey has more than three things about herself. Most of the rooms are painted, at least the ones that dolls will occupy, but I am having trouble with getting decent lighting for pictures. I think I have the right setting now so hopefully this Friday there will be a post featuring the colors of the dollhouse.
